Senator Al-Fakhri Lectures at Amman Arab University

Media and Communication – Nasima Al-Fakhri, the Chairwoman of the Women's Committee in the Senate, delivered a speech today, Wednesday, at Amman Arab University on the empowerment of women and youth in driving positive change and achieving equality toward the future of our beloved Jordan.

In her speech, she highlighted the challenges facing empowerment, including cultural, social, economic, and legislative barriers that still stand in the way of women and youth, pointing out how these factors limit their ability to participate in political and economic life. She explained that these insights were drawn from her extensive experience in the political, social, and parliamentary fields.

She added that the existing barriers, such as social, cultural, economic, and legislative constraints, along with a lack of resources and training, have acted as a motivating factor, increasing their ambition in the Women's Committee to work on increasing female representation in leadership positions. She also emphasized opening doors for youth to achieve their ambitions and build a more inclusive and flexible society.

In conclusion, she expressed optimism about achieving broader cooperation in the "DEI" program and the Global Thinkers Forum, as they represent a cornerstone and a turning point in the modernization and equality journey led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect him, to build a strong and cohesive society that embodies Jordanian values.
