Amman, April 28 - Senator Dr. Khaled Kalaldeh, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Freedoms and Citizens' Rights, participated in the symposium of the Special Group on the Mediterranean and the Middle East (GSM) and the Economic and Security Committee (ESD), currently being held in the Turkish city of Antalya.
According to a statement from the House of Representatives on Monday, Kalaldeh highlighted the pivotal role played by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting the Palestinian cause and defending the rights of the Palestinian people in various international forums.
He addressed vital issues related to the economic and security challenges facing Jordan and the Middle East region, as well as ways to enhance regional cooperation and develop joint policies to confront current and future threats.
